This 18–19 inch Shri Yantra Gong features a detailed golden geometric design against a dark, naturally aged metal finish. Its responsive surface produces a developing gong tone suited to personal practice, yoga rooms and sound studios.
Symbolism, Sound and Finish
- Shri Yantra: The interlocking triangles form a balanced central pattern traditionally associated with unity, focus and complementary forces. It represents the union of masculine and feminine energies and the harmony of the cosmos. Its intricate pattern serves as a visual focus for meditation and contemplation.
- Developing Resonance: The tone expands after each strike, with playing position and strength revealing different harmonic layers.
- Aged Surface: The contrast between the golden artwork and dark finish highlights the individual marks and character of the gong.
