I bought the Thadobati singing bowl and I played immediately after received it. When I tapped on it, the sound was good and sacred. However, I tried many times to sing the bowl around its rim, but it still didn't work. I just heard some very low vibration sound, but not the E3 or A#4 sound. It was a bit disappointment to me as I invested in the bowl for doing sound healing session and I would love to sing the bowl in the class. Yet it does not meet my expectation as every of my other singing bowls can sing very well.

Hi CHO, thank you for your feedback. Every singing bowl has its own unique sound characteristics, and different playing techniques can bring out different tones. Try placing the bowl on a cushion or your open palm, gently striking the outer wall near the rim, or slowly circling the rim with steady pressure. You can also experiment with different mallets, striking points, speeds, and pressure. Avoid gripping the sides, as this can dampen the vibration.
