Full Moon Singing Bowl is handcrafted in Kathmandu by second- and third-generation artisans. Each bowl carries individual hammer marks, tone and finish, with additional sizes available by request where suitable bowls can be made or sourced.
Full-Moon Symbolism
Always Complete: In Buddhist teaching, the moon is sometimes used as a simple analogy for truth or our clear inner nature. The moon remains whole even when we see only a crescent, a half moon or darkness during a new moon.
What Changes Is Our View: Just as the moon can be hidden by its phase or clouds, clarity can be obscured by confusion. The full moon offers a visual reminder that what is true may still be present even when it is not fully seen.
Handcrafted Sound: Every bowl is shaped and finished by hand, so tone, weight and surface markings naturally vary.

Very soothing sound that resonates for ages. A great addition to our meditation practice.
I absolutely love my new bowl! I have been using this for sound therapy to start each day & find the vibrations very calming. It took me only a bit of practice to get a really nice ringing sound & make the bowl sing. I highly recommend purchasing the soft felt mallet too to create a softer tone than the striker. Thanks to Prateek for his guidance in choosing bowls & advice on how to make them sing & get a beautiful resonant tone from them! He has a great range to choose from in his Syd shop.
